Bill joined Best Travel in 1986 after gaining experience in corporate travel by working with Air New Zealand and Singapore Airlines. In 2001, Bill and his wife Christine purchased the business outright from founder Garth Best. During 2009-10, Bill worked with four other astute travel business owners from around New Zealand to establish World Travellers. Although Bill still plays an active role on the World Travellers’ board of directors, he's now focused on working 'on' the business rather than 'in' the business by taking care of the marketing and strategic side for Best Travel.
