Captain Cook Cruises Senikai Spa
In today’s fast paced world, we become stressed out and long for a holiday in an exotic place. Everyone wants some undisturbed leisure time where you switch off the cellphone, blackberry and email and enjoy nature. Cruising is one of the most fascinating ways to travel and get pampered along the way, and what better place than in the tropical Fiji islands, where you are surrounded by the warmth of a light tropical breeze, the scent of tropical flowers, and the gentle sound of the ocean while having a relaxing spa treatment.
Taking time out from a conference held onboard Captain Cook Cruises MV Reef Endeavour, I enjoyed an excellent facial at the Senikai Spa. The whole experience was so relaxing and I left feeling like a million dollars! The Senikai Spa on the Reef Endeavour is small, but chic and relaxing, and the qualified therapists use their own locally produced skin and body range, Essence of Viti, for the treatments. Made from marine and plant extracts, it promotes rejuvenation and well being. There is an outdoor area next to the Spa where you can combine a relaxing therapeutic massage with spectacular views of the Yasawa Islands and there is a good menu of services available at very reasonable rates.
Tip - The days that the ship is “in port” are generally the best value days at the spa. Sea Days are the busiest at the spa which is why specials and packages are offered on port days.
Next time you plan a cruise, reserve some time and some of your spending budget for a trip to the spa. It will be the icing on top of your holiday.
