P&O Cruises and their associated companies Princess Cruises and Carnival Cruise Lines have some fabulous cruises around New Zealand, Australia and the South Pacific in 2013.

Pacific Pearl is the youngest ship in the P&O Cruises fleet. Cruising again from Auckland in 2013 (we missed her this year) she’s a beauty! From her Big Screen, to her on-deck BBQ for the ultimate Aussie dining experience with an ever changing backdrop, she’s got it all. There’s the stylish Waterfront Restaurant with a wine room, which offers private parties and a degustation menu. Organise a special night out at the signature celebrity chef restaurant, Salt grill by Luke Mangan*. Visit MIX for a cappuccino during the day and a cocktail at night.

In the evening the Atrium transforms into a three-storey entertainment venue - showcasing events like the ViZion Laser Light Show - and The Orient pub is a great place to enjoy pre-dinner drinks. Here you’ll see an impressive selection of cocktails and boutique beers on the menu, and the venue is beautifully furnished with chesterfield lounges, wingback chairs and pub stools, recalling the historic Orient Line. For some pampering, head to Aqua HealthSpaFitness*which offers a range of treatments including facials, body scrubs and acupuncture, as well as medi-spa treatments like teeth whitening.

On deck Pacific Cirque entertains with amazing acrobatic shows. On the Big Screen you can play outdoor bingo, watch recent releaseP&O Cruises movies and TV shows or take part in Playstaion and Wii tournaments and, for a totally different experience, wade over to the swim up bar on top deck. Cheers to that! Pacific Pearl offers cruises to and from Sydney and Auckland to Tasmania, the Pacific Islands and New Zealand, as well as a number of Short Break themed cruises.

Forget road trips and theme parks and beach holidays, do something different – do a holiday with Carnival! Think about it. No, don’t think about it...imagine it. Feeling the stress melt away as you get a hot stone treatment. Playing nine holes of mini-golf at 21 knots. Taking the ultimate plunge at Carnival WaterWorks. Feasting to your belly’s content. Abseiling down the face of a waterfall in Vanuatu. Enjoying a beachside BBQ in Fiji. With Carnival, you have the kind of fun that you want to tell everyone about.

So how about it? How about a holiday where the journey is as fun as the destination? Where each and every moment of your precious time away is yours to savour? Where all your meals (and those pesky dishes!) are taken care of for you? Sound pretty good? Well with Carnival Spirit now sailing from Sydney and Melbourne, this kind of out-of-the-ordinary holiday is closer than you might have thought! You’re on a ship that’s nearly the length of three football fields and every square metre of it is packed with things to do/see/taste/try. Sure you might have cruised before, but you’ve never cruised anything like Carnival Spirit! You’re in for a treat!

On board is a sports court, a choice of swimming pools and an outdoor jogging track. The Spa Carnival and two-deck fitness centre are the primo destinations for aromatherapy massages and workouts with amazing ocean views.
