Rome offers far more than its ancient monuments. The Eternal City brims with hidden treasures waiting to be discovered. Art enthusiasts can immerse themselves in high fashion, street art, and Vespa rides along The Appian Way, or toss coins into iconic fountains. Schedule a visit to Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel and the Pope’s private quarters at the Vatican. Wander through the ruins of The Colosseum, admire Caravaggio’s churches, climb the Spanish Steps, and visit The Pantheon. Experience authentic Italian life by learning to make pasta, hunting truffles, savouring gelato, sipping espresso, and relaxing in a 3000-year-old thermal pool. Rome effortlessly blends the old with the new, making indulgence easy.
Day 2: Naples
Nestled between the majestic Mount Vesuvius and the volcanic calderas of Phlegraean Fields, Naples, the heart of Italian culture, is rich in history. Marvel at Baroque churches, Renaissance palaces, and Neoclassical opera houses, then take the funicular to Castel Sant’Elmo for stunning views of the Bay of Naples and Sorrento Peninsula, gateway to the Amalfi Coast. Beneath the cobblestone streets lies a network of ancient tunnels from Roman and Greek times. Extend your visit to see the ruins of Pompeii and Herculaneum, buried by Vesuvius, or take a trip to the picturesque island of Capri.
Day 3: Trapani, Sicily
Embrace la dolce vita in Trapani, a city rich in history and authentic Sicilian life. Admire well-preserved Greek relics and explore the UNESCO-listed ancient city of Agrigento. Sample locally produced Ortigia and traditional Sicilian dishes. Visit Erice for breathtaking views, or take a helicopter or boat to the Aeolian Islands and the mineral-rich salines. Wander through Monreale’s charming alleys and visit the Norman cathedral while meandering through orange, olive, and almond groves. Trapani offers a serene Mediterranean experience with an old-world charm.
Day 4: La Goulette, Tunis
La Goulette, the gateway to North Africa, welcomes visitors with its whitewashed buildings and rich history. Explore the ancient Medina, a maze of souks, mosques, and madrassas with their distinctive black and white arches. Experience French influence in the Ville Nouvelle, with wide eucalyptus-lined boulevards leading to St. Vincent de Paul Cathedral. Don’t miss the ancient Phoenician ruins and stunning mosaics of Carthage near the picturesque town of Sidi Bou Said, a favourite of artists and poets.

As the sun sets over the Ponte Vecchio, enjoy a refined Tuscan red and reflect on the city’s rich history.
Day 13: Ajaccio, Corsica
Corsica’s capital, Ajaccio, nestled between mountains on the island’s west coast, exudes charm. Visit Maison Bonaparte, Napoleon’s birthplace, and the Baroque cathedral where he was baptised.
