I’m a travel expert in…
…Australia, Pacific Islands, USA, Canada, UK, Europe, Japan, Vietnam, Singapore, Hong Kong, Buenos Aires, Peru, Chile, Cruising

I became a World Traveller by…
…leaving New Zealand at 21 on my OE to Europe. Once I returned home, I began travelling at least once or twice a year to somewhere new every time; filling up my passport along the way and collecting a huge memory bank of fun filled and exciting adventures.

My best travelling experience so far is… usually the last trip I went on. In this case it was my Eclipse famil to Peru and Chile. With no expectations, I came away realising that Machu Picchu really does live up to the hype! And visiting the Atacama Desert in Chile is a place where there is something for everyone and I will always recommend it for my South American clients as a special retreat. My first river cruise is also not going to be my last. With Uniworld I cruised up the Rhone exploring the Provence region in Spring time and blowing my mind with culture, food and history simultaneously! Before that it was Buenos Aires surprising me with its strong European flavour with beautiful people, shops, food, architecture and, of course, the tango! I also fell in love with Vietnam from the people, to the food, to the countryside to the shopping, a revisit is definitely on my list :) Another example would be cruising around the Tongan Islands in a restored luxury yacht... oh wait, dog sledding in the middle of BC then learning to snowboard at Silver Star - too many to list!

I never travel without…
…a bottle of water, cell phone, lip balm and my merino!

My favourite client story is…
…repeat clients returned from a Rocky Mountaineer tour in Canada and a cruise through Alaska. The gentleman took an optional tour on a float plane to get some fishing in. He ended up seeing a brown bear catching salmon… was the highlight of his trip of course!
