Day 3 in Dubai, the last day

Educational morning today at a hotel listening to speakers from Emirates & Dubai Tourism, meeting hotel & attraction operators.

Then a fun lunch at hard rock cafe including entertainment from a band called ‘Shine’ who play there every night at the moment till July.

We had just enough time to enjoy a swim in the infinity pool on the top deck of our hotel with amazing views over dubai.

Later that day 4WD vehicles picked us up from our hotel about 4pm for our desert safari with Arabian Adventures. We drove for about an hour then we spotted that desert like scenery. Once on the sand, all the vehicles tyres were let down slightly so it was easier for them to drive over the sand! We set off on our journey over the sand dunes (you can tell the driver if you want to go fast or slow!) and then arrived for a stop to watch the falcon show. (Falcon is the national bird of Dubai and are of big importance there). More dune driving and we arrived for our ‘sunset stop’, a beautiful Arabian setup complete with champagne and we had numerous fun photos on the top of the dunes while enjoying the sunset. Amazing. Onto the final and main part of the safari, we arrived at the ‘camp’, another gorgeous decorated area with low tables & cushions to sit at, mood lighting and real atmosphere. Few hours of fun - Enjoyed a scrumptious Arabian dinner, entertained by a belly dancer, got henna done on my hand and rode a camel!!! What a highlight-surreal!

Dubai has something for everyone, and we had so much packed into our 3 days so that we know what it’s like to be able to tell you! Don’t hesitate to come to come in & see us at Galaxy Travel, we’re world travellers just like you!
