Sea Princess docked at the Mount

21 November 2013

Maree and I went to Tauranga last week to do a ship inspection on the Sea Princess docked at the mount . I did look at packing a suitcase and leaving it in the boot of the car so I could stowaway later, but couldn’t do that to my colleague, how unfair would it be for her to have to go home without me.....

There were 14 agents in total, the security to get on and off the ship is very strict, you get your photo taken before you board and get a numbered card that you pin on and you hand over your ID. So any thoughts of stowing away at this stage had gone....

The Sea Princess is a 3.5 star ship, she has quite traditional furnishings. Throughout the ship you will find themed bars, nightclub and exciting live entertainment,. I love the idea of coming aboard and there is nothing left but to unpack, settle in and enjoy every moment of being on board. The entertainment extends to wine tasting, dance classes, trivia contests movies under the stars complete with blanket and popcorn.

Relax in several sparkling freshwater pools and hot tubs out on the deck, on board there are kids clubs, massage and beauty treatments they even offer teeth whitening and Botox......

There is an array of restaurants serving delicious freshly prepared food. You can also grab a bite on the go from a variety of eateries everything from pizzeria, 24 hour buffet, room service, barbeques and traditional dining.

We were lucky enough to have lunch on board and could not fault the service or food, I tried to join the gym as I passed after lunch. Unfortunately we were on our way off the ship...

These Princess cruises are fantastic value for money they travel around New Zealand, Australia, South Pacific and further afield anything from 2 nights to 14 nights. 2014/2015 departures are already in store, you can take your family and cruise 11 nights from Brisbane, Isle of Pines, Noumea, Fiji, Vanuatu and back to Brisbane in an ocean view suite for $2,829.00 per person..

Come in and see me now and lets book a cruise for 2014. I cant guarantee Kate Winslet or Leonardo Decaprio on board but I can guarantee once you have done one cruise you will want to experience another .
