Where are the ski fields?
Remarkables - 40 minute drive for QT. Good beginners runs and short hike to expert terrain. Natural terrain parks.
Coronet Peak - 25 min drive from QT. Has day care and International Ski school. It has night skiing Friday and Saturday nights.
Snow Farm NZ - 1 hour 17 mins drive from QT. Popular option for cross country skiing. Great for young kids as they have tubes and sleds you can use for a small fee, plus they also have huskies.
Cardrona - 1 hour 20 mins drive from QT . A great all rounder ski field - including for beginners. Has Terrain parks and super pipes. Child care and kids ski school. -
Treble Cone - 1 hour 29 mins drive from QT. Offers the learners slope and towrope free, so good for kids just wanting to have a go. Can be less easy terrain wise for beginners.

Mercure Queenstown - just outside town centre
Where to eat?
The famous Ferg Burger - but don't be surprised if you're waiting in the queue for a long long time so wrap up warm!
