Day 1: Arrive Hanoi
On arrival in Vietnam’s capital, Hanoi, you’ll be met at the airport and transferred to the Movenpick Hotel Hanoi only a short walk from the Old Quarter.
Day 2: Hanoi
Take in Hanoi on a guided sightseeing tour, including the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and historic Ba Dinh Square. Afterwards, an Insider Experience awaits. For dinner, perhaps choose from one of our select dining experiences.
Day 3: Hanoi, Ha Long Bay
After breakfast, travel to Ha Long. Set off cruising and explore the mysterious Trinh Nu Cave.
Day 4: Ha Long Bay
This morning, enjoy kayaking at Ho Ba Ham before lunch, followed by a sightseeing trip to Cua Van Floating Culture Centre. Later, savour dinner on board.
Day 5: Ha Long Bay, Hanoi, Siem Reap
Explore Sung Sot Cave, the 10,000 square metre cave threaded by a 500-metre paved passageway, before docking back at Ha Long. Travel to Hanoi airport for your included flight to Siem Reap.
Day 6: Angkor, Siem Reap
Today you will discover Ta Prohm temple. The temple and its atmospheric surrounds have been left to slowly return to nature, with the overgrown jungle and vast root systems creating a unique sight throughout the ruins. After an insider experience this evening, enjoy local flavours during a delicious dinner.
Day 7: Angkor, Siem Reap
With a morning at leisure, perhaps enjoy a select experience. Afterwards, on a guided tour, visit Angkor Archaeological Park and the 12th-century temple Bayon. Cap off the day with sunset at Angkor Wat. For dinner perhaps enjoy a select dining experience.
Day 8: Siem Reap, Embark Ship at Kampong Cham
Transfer to Kampong Cham to join your Mekong River Cruise. Later, an Insider Experience awaits.
Day 9: Angkor Ban, Oknha Tey
Enjoy an immersive walking tour of Angkor Ban. Return to your ship and continue sailing towards Oknha Tey. Disembark and discover the town, well known locally for its delicate silk weaving.
Day 10: Phnom Penh, Oudong
Cruise to Phnom Penh then travel by coach to Oudong for a special Insider Experience. Afterwards, see Koh Chen and explore the open-air copperware workshops.
Day 11: Phnom Penh
Join an excursion to the infamous Killing Fields and the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum. Following lunch, take a guided tour of Phnom Penh and see the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda.
Day 12: Border Crossing, Tan Chau
Relax on board as your ship cruises to the Vietnamese border. Later, arrive in Tan Chau.
Day 13: Tan Chau, Sa Dec
Travel along the tributaries around Tan Chau, then go ashore for a rickshaw tour, visit a small island and local artisan workshops.
Day 14: Sa Dec, Cai Be
Take a boat ride to Sa Dec for a tour. After lunch, a local boat takes you to the river-land town of Cai Be. Go ashore to visit the local cathedral and a rice paper manufacturer. Enjoy your last dinner on board.
Day 15: Disembark Ship, Cu Chi Tunnels, Ho Chi Minh City
Disembark at My Tho Port and travel by coach to the Cu Chi Tunnels to explore. Continue to Ho Chi Minh City your home for the next two nights.
Day 16: Ho Chi Minh City
Explore the city at leisure..
Day 17: Depart Ho Chi Minh City
Your tour ends after breakfast with a transfer to the airport.
