Itinerary


Day 1: Arrive Hanoi

Upon arrival in Hanoi, be met at the airport and transfer to your hotel.

Day 2: Sapa

Drive to the mountain town Sapa, where hills and valleys cascade in lush greenery. Today, admire the handicrafts made by the local hill tribes. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 3: Sapa

Enjoy an insightful Insider Experience today, before some time to relax and unwind.

Day 4: Hanoi

Drive back to Hanoi and spend the rest of the day at leisure. This evening, your Insider Experience awaits.

Day 5: Hanoi

Take in Hanoi on a guided sightseeing tour, including the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and historic Ba Dinh Square. Afterwards, an Insider Experience awaits. For dinner, perhaps choose from one of our select dining experiences.

Day 6: Hanoi, Ha Long Bay

After breakfast, travel to Ha Long. Set off cruising and explore the mysterious Trinh Nu Cave.

Day 7: Ha Long Bay

This morning, explore Ho Ba Ham area by kayak. Later today, visit the Cua Van Floating Culture Centre, located in the unique fishing village. A dinner on board is yours to savour this evening.

Day 8: Ha Long Bay, Hanoi, Siem Reap

Explore Sung Sot Cave this morning before docking back at Ha Long. Travel to Hanoi airport for your included flight to Siem Reap.

Day 9: Angkor, Siem Reap

Today you will discover Ta Prohm. The temple and its atmospheric surrounds have been left to slowly return to nature, with the overgrown jungle and vast root systems creating a unique sight throughout the ruins. This evening, enjoy local flavours during dinner.

Day 10: Angkor, Siem Reap

Discover the remains of Angkor Archaeological Park, a long-standing tribute to the ancient Khmer Empire. Later, visit the temple Bayon. Finish the day with a sunset at Angkor Wat.

Day 11: Siem Reap, Embark Ship at Kampong Cham

Transfer to Kampong Cham to join your Mekong River cruise. The RV Apsara will be your beautiful home for the next seven nights. Enjoy an Insider Experience this afternoon.

Day 12: Angkor Ban, Oknha Tey

Enjoy an immersive walking tour of Angkor Ban. Return to your ship and continue sailing towards Oknha Tey. Disembark and board a local tuk tuk for a village tour.

Day 13: Phnom Penh, Oudong

Cruise to Phnom Penh then travel by coach to Oudong for your Insider Experience. Afterwards, continue to Koh Chen and explore the open-air copperware workshops.

Day 14: Phnom Penh

Join a sobering excursion to the Killing Fields and Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum to learn more about local history. Tour Phnom Penh, and see the Royal Palace.

Day 15: Border Crossing, Tan Chau

Relax on board as your ship cruises to the Vietnamese border. Later, arrive in Tan Chau.

Day 16: Tan Chau, Sa Dec

After breakfast, travel by small boat along the vein-like tributaries around Tan Chau and go ashore for a rickshaw tour. Visit a small island and local artisan workshops to learn the history of the craft.

Day 17: Sa Dec, Cai Be

Take a boat ride to Sa Dec for a tour. After lunch, go ashore to see the French Gothic cathedral and visit a rice paper manufacturer. Enjoy a final dinner on board with your fellow guests.

Day 18: Disembark Ship, Cu Chi Tunnels, Ho Chi Minh City

Disembark at My Tho Port and travel by coach to the Cu Chi Tunnels, a tunnel network built by Vietnamese resistance fighters during the Vietnam War.

Day 19: Ho Chi Minh City

Explore Ho Chi Minh City at your leisure today, or perhaps enjoy one of the select experiences on offer. Enjoy a Farewell Dinner this evening.

Day 20: Depart Ho Chi Minh City
