Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Amsterdam, Embark Ship
Arrive in Amsterdam then board your ship.
Day 2: Amsterdam
Enjoy a canal cruise along Amsterdam’s world-famous canals.
Day 3: Cologne
Enjoy a tour of Cologne, savour a Kolsch beer tasting or join a bike ride around the city.
Day 4: Rudesheim
Cruise through the Rhine Gorge to Rudesheim, where you will have a choice between a wine tasting, a gondola ride, a bike ride or a hike through vineyards. Later, perhaps visit Siegfried’s Mechanical Music Museum, or sample Rudesheimer Coffee.
Day 5: Ludwigshafen
Arrive in Ludwigshafen and perhaps visit Heidelberg, enjoy a hike up the Philosopher’s Path, join a guided bike tour along the shores of the river Neckar or take a city tour of Speyer.
Day 6: Strasbourg
Enjoy a panoramic tour of Strasbourg or a bike ride through the city and Parc de l’Orangerie.
Day 7: Breisach
Perhaps discover the town of Riquewihr, tour Freiburg, take a guided bike ride or hike in the Black Forest region.
Day 8: Basel, Disembark Ship, Lucerne
Take a tour of Basel, then travel to Lucerne for a walking tour.
Day 9: Lucerne
See the Medieval City Walls and the Lion Monument before an afternoon at leisure.
Day 10: Lucerne, Zurich
Cruise Lake Lucerne then travel to Zurich.
Day 11: Zurich
Take a city tour of Zurich. One of the top experiences in Zurich is a visit to Old Town, where you will find yourself among medieval houses, churches and the modern Bahnhofstrasse.
Day 12: Depart Zurich
Transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
