Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Prague
Be met at the airport and transfer to your hotel in the historic centre of Prague. Later this evening, you’ll have the chance to get to know your fellow travellers and Tour Director at a Welcome Reception.
Day 2: Prague
Your exploration of Prague begins with a tour of the World Heritage-listed Old Town. Begin at Strahov Monastery, where you can take in panoramic views of Prague. You’ll then wander across Charles Bridge and arrive in Prague’s Old Market Square. Have your camera ready at the Astronomical Clock, a masterpiece in the Old Town Square that visualises time in a truly unique form. Stop for some time to explore if you wish and continue to discover the incredible city of Prague on your own terms, with its multitude of sights. Perhaps join an optional tour this evening to a lively traditional Czech folklore dinner and show.

Travel to a local restaurant and enjoy a lively traditional Czech folklore dinner and show.
Day 3: Prague
Having become familiar with the layout of Prague, enjoy today at leisure to explore as you please. The Jewish Quarter is a pulsing hub of Semitic history, so perhaps you’d like to head there and learn all about the birthplace of writer Franz Kafka. Alternatively, you may wish to join an optional tour to Prague Castle.
Enhance Your Journey - Prague Castle
Travel across the Vltava River to Prague Castle, which dominates the city skyline. Believed to date back to the 9th century, this castle complex – with its network of palaces and churches – is considered the largest in the world. Join a local guide for a tour through the complex, including St. Vitus Cathedral and the Golden Lane.
Day 4: Prague, Budapest, Embark Ship
Farewell Prague after breakfast as you board your coach and head to Budapest to board your river ship. Tonight, enjoy a Welcome Reception with your fellow travellers.
Day 5: Budapest
Disembark and learn the vibrant history of Budapest as your local guide takes you to a host of impressive sights. Back on board this evening, enjoy a delightful Gala Welcome Dinner while you cruise.
Day 6: Bratislava
Today, explore Slovakia’s capital, Bratislava, on a guided walking tour through the charming Old Town. Stroll its picturesque streets and visit notable landmarks, including St Martin’s Cathedral, the elegant Primatial Palace and the lively Main Square. You’ll also see Michael’s Gate — the only surviving city gate of the four that once guarded Bratislava.
Day 7: Vienna
Embrace the elegance of Vienna as you drive along the Ringstrasse, taking in some of the city’s most famous buildings. On arrival in the centre, a walking tour will provide an insider’s view of sights such as St Stephen’s Cathedral, the Graben and Hofburg Palace. Afterwards, perhaps visit the Naschmarkt and browse the stalls. This evening, you may choose to attend an optional concert.

Enjoy a Mozart and Strauss concert in one of Vienna’s palaces or concert venues, followed by an evening drive around the Ringstrasse.
Day 8: Dürnstein, Melk
Cruise to Dürnstein, a charming town overlooked by the hilltop ruins of the castle where legendary King Richard the Lionheart was imprisoned in the 12th century. Enjoy a free morning to explore its cobbled streets, historic townhouses and inviting taverns. Perhaps join an optional tour to sample some of the region’s renowned wines. Later, cruise through the picturesque Wachau Valley before docking in Melk for a guided tour of Melk Abbey — an active Benedictine monastery since 1089.
Enhance Your Journey – Wine Tasting
Visit Dürnstein Abbey, where you’ll savour a glass of the local Grüner Veltliner or Riesling produced in the region, as well as delicious brandy.
Day 9: Linz
Today you may choose to join an optional excursion to Český Krumlov in the Czech Republic or visit Salzburg. Alternatively, enjoy time at leisure in Linz to explore at your own pace.

Enhance Your Journey – Salzburg Sights
Travel through Austria’s scenic countryside to Mondsee, where you may recognise the famous wedding church from The Sound of Music. Continue to Salzburg for a guided tour of the town Mozart once called home, then enjoy free time to explore before returning to your ship.
Day 10: Passau
In the beautiful city of Passau, enjoy a guided walking tour, taking in the historic sites as you roam the cobblestone lanes of the Altstadt. You'll then enjoy an Insider Experience.
Insider Experience – Aldersbach Brewery
Travel by coach to nearby Aldersbach brewery founded in 1268, where you'll be welcomed by local musicians and taken on a tour of the brewery. Afterwards, enter the festival hall to enjoy locally brewed beer with tastings of some local food, all in the spirit of Oktoberfest, with live music and singing.
Day 11: Passau, Disembark Ship, Munich
After breakfast, board a coach and travel to Munich where you will check in to your hotel.
Day 12: Munich
Enjoy a guided discovery of the Bavarian capital of Munich, regarded by many as Germany’s most beautiful city. See the famous Glockenspiel on the Town Hall and explore the historic city centre, home to the iconic Frauenkirche. The afternoon is yours to relax or continue exploring. This evening, you will be treated to a special dinner.
Day 13: Munich
Today is at leisure in Munich. You may wish to join an optional full-day excursion to Neuschwanstein and Linderhof castles, two of Bavaria’s most magnificent royal residences.
Enhance Your Journey – Neuschwanstein Castle
Visit Neuschwanstein Castle, set in the heart of the Bavarian Alps. Famous for its fairytale architecture — which inspired Walt Disney’s Sleeping Beauty Castle — it is surrounded by mountains, forests and lakes. Inside, admire richly decorated rooms and colourful murals that reflect the castle’s romantic vision.
Day 14: Depart Munich
Your adventure comes to an end today with a transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
