Itinerary


Day 1: Arrive Ljubljana

Be met on arrival in Slovenia's capital, Ljubljana and transferred to your hotel. Tonight, get to know your fellow guests and tour director at a welcome dinner.

Day 2: Ljubljana

Embark on a guided discovery of Ljubljana. Make sure you have your camera handy to capture views of the entire city from Ljubljana Castle's lookout tower. You will also delight in a wine tasting, where you will sample fine Slovenian varieties. The evening is yours at leisure.

Day 3: Ljubljana, Logar Valley

Farewell Ljubljana as you make your way to the Logar Valley. Here, you'll be astounded by the stunning scenery of rolling emerald slopes, snow-dusted mountains and pristine lakes. This rarely visited region is tucked away and offers a harmonious blend of peace and nature. Tonight, enjoy dinner accompanied by local entertainers.

Day 4: Logar Valley

Today is devoted to exploring the alpine splendour of the Logar Valley, which has been carved by glaciers over countless millennia.

Day 5: Logar Valley, Bohinj, Vogel, Bled

In Slovenia's Alps, the villages of Bohinj and Vogel offer incredible vistas and evergreen slopes. Take a cable car ride from Bohinj to Vogel, located 1534 metres above sea level. Here, you'll be met with stunning views of Lake Bohinj and the surrounding Julian Alps. Continue to Lake Bled and arrive at your hotel, which overlooks the idyllic shores of Lake Bled.

Day 6: Bled, Portoroz

Board a traditional Pletna boat and enjoy a cruise to the island on Lake Bled. Afterwards, tour Bled Castle, whose origins date back to 1004. Then continue to your hotel in Portoroz.

Day 7: Portoroz

Explore the World Heritage-listed Skocjan Caves, the largest known underground canyon in the world. Afterwards, visit a stud farm famous for breeding Lipizzan horses. This is the original farm responsible for perpetuating this breed, which are provided to the Spanish Riding School in Vienna.

Day 8: Portoroz, Piran, Opatija, Embark Yacht

Explore the fascinating Piran Pans, where salt is still produced using centuries-old processes of natural crystallisation. Later travel to the Croatian region of Istria, where you'll gain an insight into truffle hunting, including a delicious tasting. Then transfer to Opatija where you will embark the MV Lady Eleganza. Tonight, come together to share a welcome dinner on board. You will dock overnight in this magnificent town.

Day 9: Krk, Rab

Arrive in the beautiful island of Krk. Weather permitting, your yacht will drop anchor so you can enjoy a swim right off the deck. Later, sail to Rab and meander through the narrow old alleys of the historic and picturesque Old Town.

Day 10: Pag, Zadar

Arrive in Pag, where you will have the chance to take a refreshing dip straight off your deck. Later, continue to Zadar and enjoy a guided walk of its well-preserved Old Town, Roman Columns, Romanesque churches and Renaissance palaces. Your yacht will dock here overnight, where perhaps you may like to try one of the local taverns.

Day 11: Kornati Islands, Sibenik, Radosic

Cruise among the 140 islands that make up the Kornati archipelago, a cluster of islands teeming with natural beauty, coves and clear blue waters. During your time here, you might enjoy a swim from the yacht's rear deck.

Day 12: Sibenik, Krka National Park, Vis

Today, head to beautiful Krka National Park. Here, explore the dramatic waterfalls. See the park's most famous waterfall, Skradinski Buk, a large natural pool with high waterfalls at one end and cascades at the other. Take a walk along wooden jetties and bridges to admire the falls, as well as the unique flora and fauna. Return to the yacht and continue cruising to the island of Vis, one of the main Croatian Islands that was used as a military base for the Yugoslav army and only opened up to tourism in 1989. This isolation and lack of development is the island's main attraction, as it is filled with natural beauty. Enjoy dinner on board as your yacht moors overnight. You also have the option to experience local life with a visit to a tavern.

Day 13: Bisevo, Hvar

Board a local boat to the neighbouring island of Bisevo. Here, visit its Blue Grotto, a coastal cave whose waters shine a striking blue colour when the sun's rays pass through an underwater opening, while the rocks beneath shimmer in silver. Return to your yacht and sail to Hvar, where you’ll embark on a guided walking discovery of Hvar’s stunning Old Town. Commence in the iconic main square, which is the largest piazza in Dalmatia, then see the cathedral and the Franciscan Monastery. Continue to the Benedictine Nunnery, where we hear about the aloe lace still produced today by the nuns.

Day 14: Hvar, Korcula

Sail to Korcula, where you'll stroll along the medieval streets flanked with palaces. It is believed the great explorer Marco Polo was born in this town. Tonight, dine on board, then perhaps go ashore for an evening stroll or maybe check out the local nightlife.

Day 15: Korcula, Dubrovnik

Stop for a swim before continuing to your last port of call, Dubrovnik. Here, embark on a guided discovery of this walled city. Tonight, come together to share a farewell dinner.

Day 16: Disembark Yacht, Depart Dubrovnik

Your exciting Croatia and Slovenian journey comes to an end today after breakfast. Be transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
