Maldives

Unbeatable beachside luxury

The Maldives is synonymous with pristine white beaches and clear blue water. This is a place you come to truly switch off from the humdrum of everyday life and experience relaxation at its finest. There are nearly 1,200 islands that make up the world’s lowest-lying nation, and while many of these are connected to luxurious resorts, in recent years the Maldives have also become more accessible to travellers after more of an authentic local experience.

While you can certainly still splash out on a honeymoon holiday or five star escape, there are plenty of options these days to cater to travellers on all budgets, and our expert travel consultants can help you navigate all of these choices. No matter whether you’re on a five star or three star budget, you can enjoy the dazzling tropical attractions of the Maldives’ many atolls. This is the perfect place to learn to dive, with the scenes beneath the waves among the most spectacular you’ll see anywhere in the world. Take a seaplane sight to view the islands from above, and make sure you don’t miss out on some of the cultural highlights such as a bodu beru dance.

Tips and advice from our travel advisors

Choose an all-inclusive resort in the Maldives, as there is no option to go anywhere else anyway, dining options are plenty, and as you've prepaid everything before you get there, the hardest decision will simply be where to eat that day!
