We have an inviting office in the heart of Gisborne city centre, where customers enjoy coming from all over the district to meet face-to-face with our Travel Designers.

As a Travel Designer, you will be responsible for creating and delivering tailor-made itineraries for our clients. We are looking for someone with proven sales experience in the travel industry, high attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and with a commitment to customer service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working within our Travelport system to make airline reservations.
- Dealing with clients face to face, via telephone and through email enquires.
- Preparing tailor-made itineraries.
- Building and maintaining relationships with customers and suppliers in all sectors
- Overseeing all financial transactions within a booking, including invoicing, ticketing, margins, credits, deposits, payments and cancellations.
- Work autonomously while being part of a team.
About You:
- Minimum 2 years of Retail Travel experience preferred.
- Knowledge of GDS and CRM Systems and Microsoft Applications.
- A motivated sales person with a dynamic and friendly personality.
- Passionate and enthusiastic about travel.
- Impeccable attention to detail and task management skills.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Outstanding customer service skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The legal right to work in New Zealand.
