I've spent more decades in the travel industry than I'm prepared to admit, and I still feel as passionate about travel today as when I first started. My career has taken me through a variety of roles giving me a broad understanding of what it takes to create exceptional travel experiences.
Twenty years ago, I became a Director of Queenstown Travel and Visitor Centre, which at the time traded as World Travellers Christchurch and World Travellers Wanaka. Today, we proudly operate as World Travellers Navigators, a fresh and exciting brand that reflects who we are and where we're headed.
I am incredibly proud of the World Travellers Navigators team. The care, passion, diligence, creativity, and professionalism of our travel brokers inspire me every day. Working alongside such talented people is one of the greatest rewards of my career.
Outside of travel, conservation is a major part of my life. I am a Trustee of the Tasman Bay Blue Penguin Trust, where I help support the conservation and advocacy of New Zealand's little penguins. Much of my spare time is spent monitoring penguins and contributing to the Trust's work.
I also enjoy kayaking, golf, and spending time outdoors. Living in a small beachside community, I value the people, environment, and sense of connection. Travel, nature, and conservation are all deeply important to me, and my recent adventure to the Galápagos Islands to see the endangered Galápagos penguins was a wonderful reminder of why I love exploring our world.
