Going on 41…
Isn’t it exciting to be back to travelling again! I’m looking forward to visiting Bali for the first time in December - country number 41 in 41 years… And before you ask, no I don’t have a favourite (they’re all so different).
It’s not been all work! I’ve travelled a lot with my family over the years… I grew up with travel from a young age and took my first plane ride overseas aged 5 years, to Brisbane for the World Expo (back in the day). Sometimes the passion of travel is just in your genes and that’s where you thrive. Hence, I love my role of helping to make others dreams come to life!
I’ve been part of the tight knit Galaxy team for 16 years, and every day is a different adventure. We truly enjoy being part of your journey, and our own travels help us in planning yours. If you’re a traveller, then like us you have lots of your own travel stories to share and if you’re like me, thousands of photos to accompany the memories. Travel is our world!
My most recent trip was cruising around Italy with Oceania Cruises in June – That’s a story or 2 for another day. 10 nights on a beautiful ship visiting stunning destinations with the added excitement to see where I was each day – Total bliss.
I’ve now cruised the Med, the Caribbean and the South Pacific. I’m fortunate to have done a river cruise along the Mekong in Asia and the Seine in France.
Thailand is the country at the top of my wish list. I’d love to soak up the culture, sample my favourite food, enjoy a cooking class, visit the floating markets and take in the beautiful scenery. I wonder where 2025 will take me…
