Day 1: Nairobi
On arrival, private transfer to your hotel for overnight.
Day 2 - 4: Nairobi > Masai Mara
Light aircraft flight to the Masai Mara for three incredible days in this preserved savannah wilderness. You stand an excellent chance of seeing the Big 5 - rhino, elephant, buffalo, lion and leopard - as well as around 90 other mammal species including giraffe, hippo, zebra and so much more. Twice daily 4x4 safaris and the best African sunsets you can imagine will complete your days.
Day 5: Masai Mara > Nairobi
Return to Nairobi for overnight.
Day 6 & 7: Nairobi > Victoria Falls
A 3 hour direct flight to Victoria Falls, a sight so lovely that David Livingstone said it must have been 'gazed upon by angels in their flight'. Spend two days visiting the falls, lunch overlooking the gorge (at own cost) and a beautiful sunset cruise on the Zambezi River where you may see pods of hippo and crocodiles on the waters' edge.
Day 8: Victoria Falls > Cape Town
It is another 3 hour direct flight to Cape Town where you will spend three nights exploring the 'Mother City'.
Day 9 & 10: Cape Town
Your local guide will take you to explore this stunning city including the vantage points from above the 'tabletop' of Table Mountain (weather permitting), the Malay Quarter, the Cape of Good Hope and a delightful colony of African penguins.
Day 1: Cape Town > Cape Winelands
Transfer to the Cape Winelands, visiting a couple of vineyards on the way, and learn about the Cape Dutch and French Huguenot history of the early colonial settlers. Many of the wine farms are historic and still look the same today as they did over 300 years ago.
Day 12: Cape Winelands
Today you have tickets on the 'Wine Tram' - a fun, relaxed way to amble around the Franschhoek Valley hopping on and off the tram and tram-bus, visiting several wine farms and vineyard manor houses during the day.
Day 13: Cape Winelands > Cape Town
You will be transferred to Cape Town Airport.
